:)
Australian Day was great! And it really is a daytime celebration, coz next day, everybody have to be back at work. So as most people, we had a lovely BBQ in the afternoon at Grants parents house ( they are such lovely people) and after that went down to the river to enjoy the fireworks. The crowds are starting to gather to foreshores round 6-7pm just to enjoy themselves and settle down before the fireworks starts at 9. We reckon that was the biggest we've ever seen, coz for example in UK, we didn't even see the fireworks at New Years Eve. But it's not the fireworks, what gives you the great atmosphere, in this case it was the people and +25 temperature. I'm so used to putting like 3 jumpers on round that time!
Hey guys, we got the best tumble-dryer you could ever have! It just takes half an hour and it's finished and it won't waste any electricity! Only problem is that it can be picky sometimes, for example, today wasn't it's greatest day and I reckon tomorrow is gonna be the same, at least that's what the weather cast is saying. More sun, more sun!!
Though I have to admit, today was the first time I saw proper clouds and even couple of raindrops, which we saw through Transperths train. By the way Transperth system is great! One ticket is valid for 2 hours and with that, you can use buses or trains and the greatest is that our train line takes us straight to the beach! What more could you want! .... though I wouldn't mind it being a bit cheaper, it's like living in UK and it's not great if you are unemployed. :)
Anyway, we got our phones sorted yesterday! I shall give you our numbers. Mine is +61424262990 and Mikkss +61424262993. You can text us anytime! But please, don't be offended, if we don't text back straight away, just coz it might be in the middle of the night here. :) For example, after we got our SIM cards, Mikk called to his mom, who really couldn't even understand, who's calling to her at 5.30 am!
Even though some things are more complicated here than in UK, opening a bank account was much easier. We just needed our passports and an address and job's done! Now we just have to stay put in Perth for a week or so till our cards come and then we can fly off, where-ever the road takes us... or shall I say employment. :)
Lots of snow for Estonia and bit less rain for England!
